Processed wood is used in everything and rarely noticed. These wall works were made using manufactured common pine board, rather than branches in response to the irony that unsterilized material was not welcome in a gallery. But I think galleries are the very best place, the only safe place, for unsterilized content. The purpose of this series was to use the meaning of the processed wood in the same way I have used branches in making sculpture.
